heeeeey friends! I’m back. Or kind of never left, but kind of did. I had abandoned this website to focus on creating content for instagram/was busy with life; but I want to make this a priority. Especially since, in a weird way, it’s therapeutic to write about certain styles and allows me to actually talk through what I really love.
I also can’t forget why I started – to connect with others who have a similar interest or style as I do! Sometimes I get caught up in the “am I growing?” “did I get more engagement?” game and it’s exhausting.
So instead, I’m doing me.
and along with that comes a few projects I’ve been working on that I’m super excited to share with you all. You’ll have to stay tuned to what I’m talking about, but believe me, it’s gonna be goooood (keep scrolling for my thoughts on this look).
Red stripe tuxedo pants. Do I need to say anything more? I am not one to wear a ton of color (duh), but these are so versatile and go with everything. Here, I paired with all black because, black.
Casual? Throw on a t-shirt tied up with a jean jacket. Put together? Okay, how about a comfy sweater and some heeled booties. Dressed up? Turn it into a quick pant suit situation (as I did here). Not to mention – these are basically leggings, but much thicker. Can’t get much better.
I paired them with these pointed loafers that look like they could be worn with a tuxedo #amiright? I’ve been really into a good pointed loafer lately and these are little more dramatic than the usual.

Can we also take a moment to talk about these sunnies from zeroUV? I’ve been dying for the pair from LeSpec; but I didn’t know 100% how I felt about them yet, so I opted for this pair first.
There has been a shift in trend where smaller sunglasses have come back around. They do look super chic, if you ask me. If you ask my husband, he’ll tell you otherwise (“what are those?!”).
I’ve already worn them quite a few times already and am not planning on slowing down anytime soon. Find yourself a good pair of statement pants. They are a great item to have in your closet.
