today was one of those days where oversized everything and hair up was a must. our poor baby, hobbs (our black frenchie), wasn’t feeling too well, so he stayed up all night whining. literally. all. night. let me tell you – puppies are HARD WORK, but so unbelievably worth it. he’s so sweet and seriously makes my days so much better. gotta give it to my husband for such an amazing two year anniversary gift! I will say that I need to work on my “tough voice” because every time I try to teach hobbs that he’s done something wrong, he thinks I’m playing…
I won’t lie – I’ve worn this crew neck sweater/sweatshirt for three days straight. not only is it such a great color (um, hello, I love a good purple-ish grey), but it’s super comfy. I was so close to not taking it home with me, but I’m so glad I did as you can wear it in so many situations – with joggers lounging in your house, ripped jeans to a casual dinner with friends, or even some leather moto leggings and pumps for cocktails after work.
I also can’t say enough about how obsessed I am with these earrings from runway scout. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – runway scout is a hidden gem. I’ve had a thing for australian retailers recently and this one is quickly becoming my fav.
these black lace up heels were also a no-brainer for me. while I need a little bit more practice walking in them (that skinny stiletto though), they are a new favorite because of how understated they are – but they have enough detail to be different and interesting.
during this shoot, I squeezed in a few pictures with the one I love so much!! allie (@vivaluxphotography) of course didn’t mind. she has two frenchies as well and couldn’t wait to meet this little guy.
